Can you help us to help the community ?
We are fundraising for two defibrillators (AED), one at the Chessel Centre on Chessel Street in Bedminster one at the Southville Centre on Beauley Road in Southville.
They will be installed outside our two community buildings for easy public access 24/7.
We’re want to install the externally positioned Defibrillators (AEDs), to assist with events of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in our local area. Currently, our nearest 24/7, public access AED is located at UWE’s Bower Ashton campus which is around a 10 minute drive for many of our local residents.
UPDATE
We have been gifted the money needed to purchase and install an AED at the Chessel Centre – a HUGE thank you to Bristol Charities for this!
We are now aiming to raise £1850 to install an AED at The Southville Centre. The fabulous Simon Brookes has created a Just Giving page for us.To donate please visit https://tinyurl.com/y4thtu6h
Let’s make this happen
The money raised will allow us to purchase:
A G5 AED for the Southville Centre
All consumables (batteries and pads) for 8 years
An externally mounted stainless steel AED store with heater and theft cover
and importantly FREE community training on using AEDs
Whatever you can spare will be greatly appreciated and help us reach our goal – Thank You.
