Check-in & Chat Befriending Service

 

We match a member of the community that may be isolated or lonely with a volunteer who calls each week for a ‘check-in and chat’. Hobbies and interests are matched and friendships are formed. The calls are made weekly over the telephone and last for 8 weeks.

Please note that Check-in & Chat volunteers will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (BS3 Community covers this cost).
