Helping people take control of your own health and wellbeing if they are feeling a bit stuck, low, perhaps recently bereaved, have money or housing worries, want to meet people but are anxious about trying new things…
How it Community Webs help? We can link people with the many services within Bedminster and Southville. These may include: Arts, gardening and creative activities. Physical activities and healthy eating. Housing, benefits and financial support and advice. Employment, training and volunteering. Education and learning. Befriending, counselling and other support groups.
We can also give the option of one-to-one sessions to help address any underlying concerns and practical support to attend activities in Bedminster and Southville.
Steps to accessing the service:
GP or nurse to refers person to “Community Webs Navigator”. Or you self-referral by phoning the lead Navigator (Celia).
2. An appointment will be made with a Navigator. During the first meeting, people can discuss and share issues and concerns.
3. Together the Navigator and individual can find ways to access services, resources and groups in BS3 and beyond. This may include further sessions or practical help to attend groups or activities.
