Our wellbeing and reflective practice

We are delighted to share that we have been awarded another certificate that recognises our commitment to the Health and Wellbeing Reflective Framework.

Mental health and wellbeing is central to our practice. By prioritising wellbeing and embedding it in our play, we are able to focus on individual children’s needs and development. We strive to create environments that allow our children to express themselves and learn about their emotions. We can support our children’s wellbeing through activities, sensory resources and calming spaces.

We are absolutely delighted with this feedback! We are passionate advocates for children’s mental health so to have this recognised by the panel is fantastic. This is an ongoing project so please keep checking in for updates.

Everyone is individual and sometimes children need some extra support. We are proud to provide tailored support for children with our dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team. The SEND and Behaviour team work alongside room-based staff, and are on hand to provide an expert opinion, support and advice on how to best support each individual child in our care.
