We are delighted to announce that the Chessel Centre has been awarded a Capital Grants Fund by Bristol City Council. The purpose of the grant is to ensure that our facilities can be best structured to support children at each stage of their development.
We have been awarded the grant in order to:
- Redevelop the Chessel Centre garden, including the installation of a soft and
durable flooring. - Alter the internal structure of the building to create a bespoke under twossection of the nursery. To facilitate this, the Pearl and Ruby Rooms will beswapping sides, knocking through into an Operations Room, to create a cosyand homely space for our youngest children.
- Increase productivity of our kitchen area to enable us to offer homemade teas, prepared on site by our team from the School Room Café (coming in the Autumn).
We have already “broken ground” on the project and can’t wait to welcome our Chessel Centre families into our new and improved setting!
