We are thrilled to be taking part in the 2025 Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade once again, the only local nursery who does so. This year our Raleigh Room children – along with support from their parents, carers, grandparents and our older friends at Monday Club – are making the lantern, inspired by Banksy’s Girl with a Red Balloon. The project is being led by local artist Adele Lippiatt and has been a wonderful opportunity for us to gather different generations of our community to create art together.
The Winter Lantern Parade is scheduled for Saturday 18 January, starting on North Street, before heading along Canon Street and, for the first time, down East Street to finish at Bedminster Parade. We can’t wait to light up Bemmy for you all – if you come down to the parade, give us a big wave!
