We have loved getting back to Forest School with some of our preschool friends for
our final block of 2024. Yvette, our Forest School friend, has been running bespoke
sessions for our preschools for three years, inviting us to learn out and about in
Dame Emily Smith Park. As well as exploring our outdoor surroundings, our Forest
Schoolers have the opportunity to whittle, scavenge-hunt, tend the community
garden and learn about fire safety (whilst enjoying a ‘Smore!) over the course of their
lessons.
Forest School is run as an extracurricular activity, open to children attending in our
three preschool settings. We will get in touch with families to book sessions from
April 2025 onwards.
