Bristol Walk Fest is back with events taking place across the city during the whole of May.
The festival encourages people of all ages, interests and abilities to walk to enhance their health and wellbeing. Dozens of walking providers and local organisations come together for Bristol Walk Fest, which aims to be the UK’s leading urban walking festival. Last year more than 80 different walk providers delivered over 170 walks/ events with approximately 3,300 people taking part.
BS3 Community already have a FREE weekly walking group established in the BS3 area. Stroll & Chat takes place every Tuesday, come rain or shine, and is included as part of this years Walk Fest.

Additionally, on Wednesday 14th May our Community Connector’s led a walk named What is Green Social Prescribing? On this relaxed walk they discussed the benefits of time in nature. They visited different green spaces dotted around BS3, away from the hustle and bustle of the high street and took a moment to pause.
