Become a volunteer
Volunteering can be a great way to make new friends, get involved in your community and learn new skills. Your time is hugely valuable to us. We have opportunities for you to get involved with our older people’s services, fundraising, gardening, and community events.
Current Volunteering Opportunities with BS3 Community
Are you available on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon? We are looking for volunteers for two of the community activities we run at the Southville Centre.
Sporting Memories is a friendly informal group who meet up to share memories of watching and playing sport, we are looking for volunteers who can stimulate the conversation and encourage others to join in as well as helping to recruit more members to the group.
The Dementia Support Group offers people a chance to meet with others affected by living with dementia or those caring for someone with the condition. If you have experience of engaging with people living with dementia that would be an advantage but not essential.
